I put in at Clark Recreation Area on West Point Lake and kayaked up the creek that goes under Young’s Mill Road. Just a little past the bridge I cut down a side stream that dead ended into a beaver dam. Lying there in the mud just as peaceful as you can imagine was this giant turtle shell still in one piece.
