02:17:12 – Macintosh Reserve

Located along the Chattahoochee at 33.446697,-84.956353 is Macintosh Reserve. It’s a fairly large chunk of land laced with horse trails. There’s a great observation deck overlooking the river and a massive open field. Also, you’ll find an old family cemetery. Macintosh Reserve is a historical landmark from the Creek indian days. There’s a model of a homestead you can walk through. Drop your kayak in on the hooch if you would rather paddle the day away. It’s really, really quiet here. It’ll cost 3 dollars to get in the park. The place if very low key.
